摘要
新诗诗律论中的“顿”概念来源于古代表示顿歇意思的“句读”概念和“顿”概念。在现代，“顿”概念通过“节”和“音尺”两个概念而扩大成为既包含顿歇又包含音组（节奏单位）两方面意思的概念。至当代，它却变得往往偏指音组这一方面的意思了。在上述演变中，英语诗律论中的“音步”概念曾被借鉴过。
The concept of “slight pause” comes from the break made in reading unpunctuated ancient writings. In modern times, it is extended, through the concepts of “ Syllable” and “foot”, into both pause and groups of sounds. In contemporary era, it only refers to the groups of sounds. The concept of “foot” has been used for reference in the above evolution, which helps to understand and explore the rhythem and metrical pattern of modern poems.
