摘要
本文通过对新疆地区早期铜镜资料的介绍，并与中国北方和西北地区发现的早期铜镜比较，认为中国早期铜镜可能源于西域．又通过与民族学材料比较，认为中国早期铜镜最初源于萨满教的巫具．
A Western Origin Hypothesis has been put forward on base of the analysis and comparison between the early copper mirrors unearthed in Xinjiang and those in Northern part and North--West part of China. Wu County under Shamanism has been further suggested as the place where Chinese early copper mirrors originated.
