摘要
西汉齐王墓位于山东省淄博市临淄区大武乡窝托村南,东北距齐故城遗址23公里,东距临淄区政府驻地辛店6公里,北距胶济铁路东风站约1公里(图一)。墓南为丘陵,墓北为平原,地形由南向北倾斜。墓封土规模颇大,虽经历年浸蚀,仍高达24米,占地面积约24市亩(图版拾伍,1)。
The Princely Tomb of Qi Kingdom of the Western Han Dynasty lies to the southof Wetuo Village of Dawu Township,about 23 kilometres south-west of the Site of theCapital of Qi in Linzi and about one kilometre south of the Dongfong Station of Jiao-jiRailway Line,at Linzi.District in Zibo City,Shandong Province.It has a large moundof rammed earth which is still 24 metres high above ground although it has been erodedby wind and rain for years.There are two tomb passages located on the north and southsides of the tomb pit.The'中'shaped tomb is in north-south orientation with 143 me-ters in overall length,41 meters wide and 17—20 metres deep.There are five funerarypints located on the east and west sides of the two tomb passages.To meet the need for the extension project of the Dongfeng Railway Station,the fivefunerary pits were successively excavated by the Museum of Zibo City from November1978 to November 1980.All of the structures and shapes of the pits are similar.They arerectangle shaft pits with wooden chambers,7.7—30.2 metres long,4—4.6 metres wide and3—3.8 metres in depth.There are ritual vessels and life utensils buried in the pit No.1,dogs in the pit No.2,weapons and appliances carried by a guard of honour in the pit No.3largely,chariots and horses in the pit No.4 and weapons and life utensils in the pit No.5.The unearthed objects from all the pits are more than 12100 pieces including bronzes——some with inscriptions,pottery,iron,lacquer and silver ware,lead,bone and clay articlesand others,in which the rectangle bronze mirror with dragon design and silver dishes withgilt design and others are rare art treasure all over the world.The excavation of the funerary pits round the Princely Tomb of Qi Kingdom of the Wes-tern Han Dynasty is another great gains for the Han archaeology of China and with veryimportant value to researches in the burial,ritual and weapon system,craft and technology,and others of the Han Dynasty.
