摘要
“学习者自主”的概念属于教育哲学的范畴。本文从教育学的角度 ,结合理工科大学英语教学改革的实践 ,探讨在大学英语教学过程中如何培养和发展学习者自主的问题。文章认为 ,正如学生应该学会对他们自己的学习负责任一样 。
The concept of learner autonomy falls into educational philosophy. This paper looks into the possibility of fostering autonomy in English learning among Chinese college students by discussing autonomy in terms of both principle and action. It is suggested that teachers and educational authorities should be also responsible for the development of learner autonomy just as learners should learn to be responsible for their own learning.
