摘要
汉代画像中的车马出行图，其实质是墓主人的灵魂从地下世界赴墓地祠堂去接受祭祀。此类题材在画像中的频繁出现，证明祭祀祖先活动的图象是汉画像中最重要的内容之一。
Chema chuxing tu(The Picture of a Tour by Chariot 车马出行图)among Han Dynasty paintings virtually depicts how the spirit of the dead tomb owner goes form the underworld to the memorial temple to receive oblations.The frequent appearance of such similar subjects in paintings illustrates that activities of the memorial ceremong for ancestors are the main contents of Han Dynasty paintings.
