哲学家的任务是倾听存在的呼唤。对日常生活和现实世界海德格尔并无多少兴趣。他对政治亦知之甚少,却试图使其按自己的思路运行。他完全无视政治的独立性,企图把政治问题最终都还原为哲学问题。这样,时代的危机最终被归结为存在的天命,而哲学家也只有存在之思,而无政治和道德立场。他只要对存在作出回应,却无须对人世的苦难和不义作出回应。
The legitimate task of a philosopher, according to Heidegger,is to be all ears to the call of Being, not to the world in reality and daily life. Heidegger himself is neither interested nor well - versed in politics. However, he did try to force his ideas on the then national political ideology and tried to reduce political problems to philosophical ones.As his philosophy is an empty pursuit quite detached from worldly affairs, it follows that his political standpoint is aloof and above moral judgement and justice. Hence his stubborn silence in regard of the Nazi holocaust.
