美国新闻署发布的消息:2000年世界旅游业收入起码将比1990年的2万亿美元的收入额提高一倍,即超过4万亿美元。旅游业肯定要超过石油、汽车工业,成为世界第一大产业。显然,我国各大中小城市都力图在这个朝阳产业中多占一些市场,各地人造景观大批涌现。
In view of the current phenomena of similarity and low benelits in the development of China's tourism product s, the authors think that it is important to keep in mind three elements——originality, modernity and national char. acter and that the combination of the three elements sonstitutes the most stable golder triangle of the tourism in dustry. The lantern festival of Zigong, the kite festival of Weifang and the ice-lantern festival of Harbin are models of the successful combination of the above three elements. On the contrary, Shanghai Museum and Shanghai Great View Garden, because of the lack of the sense of modernity, have failed to attract more visitors. And all kinds of the mini-landscape gardens to be built in many parts of the country apparently lack originality and are likely to be unsuccessful.
