一、西安环城区简介 西安城墙是明太祖朱元璋洪武三年(1370年)在隋、唐都皇城的遗址上,历经8年扩建而成,是中世纪中国历史上著名的城垣之一,是古都西安的象征。它历经了600多年的历史变迁,今天依然保持着封建社会军事城堡的雄姿,是今天世界上现存规模最大、最完整、最有保存价值的封建古城堡之一,是研究封建社会城市建设、军事历史和古代建筑工程、建筑艺术的实物资料。
In order to protect Xi'an's city wall--a renowned historic and cultural heritage more effectively, the author thinks that it is imperative to develop more boldly and scientifically the 'magic pot' left over to us by history. We should make the ancient serve the present and build round-the-city area in Xi'an into a new touism area. At present, a network of overpasses has been formed along the round-the-city area. This makes a good foundation for its further development.
