摘要
在数学史界,某些学者认为中国古代数学不讲求逻辑,缺乏推理和证明。我认为这种看法是不符合实际的。至少表明对我国古代数学中的逻辑问题缺乏深入研究。本文以刘徽的《九章算术注》为例,对其逻辑问题试作初步探讨,以就教于科学史界。
This article proposes that Liu Hui, the author of 'Annotations to the Nine Chapters of the Mathematical Art', was well aware of the necessity of logical proof to establish mathematical rules and formulas. There are many examples of logical inference and proof collected in this book, showing that the construction of modern mathematical proof was understood by the author preliminarily.
