摘要
本文将莎士比亚的悲剧《麦克白斯》与它的三个现代翻版(雅里的《乌布王》、尤奈斯库的《马克白》和马洛维茨的《麦克白斯》)作了比较研究。这些莎剧现代改编既可以被看作是具有独立思想和艺术价值的戏剧作品,也可以被看作是对莎剧的一种解释和评价。这些现代翻版都是把莎剧置于现代社会的意义和价值结构中,置于现代剧作家的主体透视之下,对莎剧所作的再发掘、再解释和再创造。同时,我们还可以看出,这些现代翻版在不同程度上都与莎剧的某种显见的或深层的意义和价值具有密切联系。
This article is a comparative study of Shakespeare's 'Macbeth' and its three modern versions: Jarry's 'Ubu Roi', Ionesco's 'Macbeth' and Marowitz's 'Macbeth'. The author thinks that these modern versions of Shakespeare's tragedy can be treated not only as dramatic creations with independent idea and artistic value, but also as a kind of interpretation of and comment on Shakespeare's tragedy. It is pointed out that these modern versions are also modern dramatists'rediscoveries, reinterpretations and reinventions of Shakespeare's tragedy, done in the context of the meaning and value of modern society and the dramatist's subjective perspective; and that, in the meantime, to some extent, these modern versions are related to Shakespeare's tragedy in meanign and value.
