永乐、夏德及雍正朝所制的带有红三鱼、红三果或红莲织装饰的白瓷通常都称为釉里红。科学检测的结果表明,这种类型的装饰系用“填红”法制成而不是用釉下彩绘法制成,其图案有凸起感,两种不同的装饰工艺产生不同的艺术外观、显微织构和化学组成。作者对此了系统测试。
Yongle, Xuande and Yongzhen Whitewares decorated with three-red-fish,three-red-fruit or lotus designs have usually been called underglaze red. However, scientific examinations revealed that these types of design which were usually raised in appearance made by' fill-in red' decorating process instead of underglaze painting. Different decorating processes resulted in different aesthetical appearance, cross-sectional microtexture and chemical composition. Detailed characteristic features were described to distinguish' fill-in red'from underglaze red.
