摘要
矢量场可视化是科学计算可视化研究的重要方向,点噪声是用于矢量场可视化的一种纹理合成技术,在早期的矢量场可视化中具有重要的地位。但该方法合成的纹理矢量方向性不强,细节较粗糙。针对此问题,提出了一种通过卷积区域白噪声为点着色的方法,弥补了这一缺点,同时对每个点沿垂直矢量方向上进行一维高通滤波,提高了输出图像的对比度,有助于观察矢量场特征分布及主要拓扑结构。
Vector field visualization is an important direction in the study of Visualization in Scientific Computing, spot noise is a texture synthesis technique for vector field visualization, which is of interest in vector field visualization in early. But the synthesis texture is worse at vector direction and roughness at texture detail by spot noise. This paper presents a new computing color method for spot by convolution region white noise, which can reparation the disadvantage of spot noise texture. By applying one dimensional high-pass filter to each spot along the direction perpendicular of vector, the contrast of output image is enhanced, which are helpful to analyze the features and topology of vector fields.
