摘要
跳花坡又叫赶花场,是小花苗族的隆重节日。苗族支系繁多,从语言、服饰、习俗的不同可分为大花苗、小花苗、汉苗(歪梳苗)、喇叭苗、白苗、长角苗等。小花苗因男女都着细针密缕的彩色刺绣披肩而得名。披肩俗称"花背",集中地表现了小花苗的挑花艺术。
Tiaohuapo (Dancing on a Flowered Slope) is a grand festival of Xiaohua Miao people in Shuicheng City,Guizhou Province.Xiaohua(Little Flower)Miao,a branch of Miao nationality is so named because men and women of the nationality wear a colorful embroidered shawl(Huabei),A legend has it that long,long ago,a young couple of Miao loverswere the first who smashed the shackle of arranged marriage and pledged to marry without their parents’permission.Later on,Xiaohua Miao people made it a custom to gather together for Tiaohuapo on Feb.15 by the lunar calendar every year. The main activities on the festive days include performing Lusheng(a traditional musical instrument)dance around a flower tree on the Huachang ground,young men trying to snatch the shawls of the girls they are in love with and folk song contest.
