摘要
针对高校英语教学中的分级考试,结合几年的教学实践,探讨了追求四级通过率的得失。并提出只有大力提倡素质教育,才是高校英语教学改革的必然出路。
In regard to the graded test in college English teaching,a discussion is given about the gain and loss in the chase of the pass rate in CET—4 in the light of years' teaching practice in our institute.Only a vigorous promotion of quality education is,as pointed out,the natural way out for the reform in college English teaching.
