摘要
The well-known theorem of Dickson provides information on the element ordersof the groups PSL(2, q). In search of a converse to this, Refs. [1] and [2] proved thatif π_e.(G)=π_e(PSL(2, q)) and if q=2~m or q=3~m (m≥2, q≠9), then G is isomorphic toPSL(2, q), where π_e(G) denotes the set of all orders of elements in G.
