摘要
本文综述了近年来将非线性理论应用于中国地震预报研究所取得的进展,包括对地震预报基本概念和方法论的研究,对地震活动和多学科前兆复杂现象的描述和研究,对复杂性产生原因的试验和研究.还探讨了这一新研究领域兴起的原因以及值得注意的几个问题.
In this parper, the progresses on the application of nonlinear theory to earthquake predication in China during the recent years are reviewed. Several aspects are summarized, such as studies on fundamental concepts and methodology in earthquake predication, the description and study of complicated phenomena of seismic activity and multidisciplinary precursors, as well as the test and study on causes of compicated phenomena. The motivation of establishing this new study field and some problems are also discussed.
