摘要 A continuum model and numerical methods were established for description of heat,mass and momentum transfers as well as macrosegregation formations in metallic ingots.Numerical simulation of temperature,composition and liquid flow fields during the solidification of an Al-4.5% Cu ingot were performed on an IBM personal computer.The model and numerical methods were verified through two experiments.
