摘要
本研究通过实际调查对非英语专业大学生英语学习动机结构进行了深入的分析研究。用多维尺度方法探索出大学生英语学习动机有三个潜在维度(情感、期望和目标定向),由三个潜在维度两两结合构成的三个平面基本呈圆环形结构,通过因子分析的共同度限定,选出共同度相同的题目,构建了大学生英语学习动机的球形模型。
This study endeavors to explore the 3D model of English learning motivation structures with a sample of non-English Chinese college students. Multidimensional scaling analysis applied on the English learning motivation scale proved the presence of the three dimensions-affect, expectancy and goal orientation. The configuration on every plane formed by two of the three dimensions turned out to be a circular-shape and the three-dimension configuration apparently demonstrated a spherical model. The items loaded on the dimension have the largest discrimination value and are highly valuable in explaining the difference of subjects.
