摘要
本文制备了一种单向连续玻璃纤维增强聚丙烯(UD-GFRT)和长玻璃纤维增强聚丙烯(LFT)的混杂复合材料,它能够显著改善LFT的冲击韧性。通过对力学性能的表征,发现当纤维中单向连续纤维成分达到50%之前,混杂复合材料的强度、模量和冲击韧性都会随单向连续纤维的含量不断增长;而达到50%之后,强度和模量增长并不显著,只有冲击韧性依然上升,UD-GFRT的冲击韧性可达到LFT的3.7倍。然后又通过修正的Cox模型及混杂混合定律(RoHM)对该混杂材料的力学性能进行预测,发现模量和预测值相比显示出正偏差,从而表现出正混杂效应,在单向连续纤维成分达到50%时,正效应最显著。该混杂复合材料用做汽车保险杠和车身底板局部增强将会具有很好的碰撞吸能效果。
In this paper,unidirectional continuous fiber and long fiber reinforced polypropylene hybrid composites were prepared,which can improved the impact toughness of LFT dramatically.The mechanical properties were characterized afterwards.It was observed that the strength,modulus and impact toughness of the hybrid composites will increase along with the content of the unidirectional continuous fiber before it reaches 50%.After 50%,the strength and modulus will not go up significantly,while the impact toughness is still growing.The impact toughness of UD-GFRT can reach 3.7times the value of LFT.Then the mechanical properties of the hybrid composites were predicted by modified Cox's model and the rule of hybrid mixtures(RoHM).It was observed that the modulus shows a positive deviation from that predicted by the RoHM and hence exhibits a positive hybrid effect, especially when the content of unidirectional fiber reaches 50%.The hybrid composites will exhibit great crash absorption potential when used as the bumper and the underbody shield of automobiles.
