摘要 阿多诺式论说文与学院体制认可的论文存在明显区别,在英语学界素以"不可译性"著称。这种"不可译性"与阿多诺论说文的艰涩论题和独特文体密不可分,也与经验主义占主导地位的英语文化和思辨哲学占主导地位的德语文化之间的差异有关。阿多诺的论说文观念,受到勋伯格、卢卡奇和本雅明等人的影响。在阿多诺看来,论说文以本雅明的"星丛"观念作为模型,具有勋伯格"无调性音乐"的特质。作为"非同一性"哲学的极佳表征,论说文反对"哲学视角主义",推崇"内在批评",是一种卓越的批评文体。 Adornoian essay is apparently different from academically accepted papers,and is famous for its untranslatability in English world.This untranslatability has a close relationship with the obscurity of their topics and with Adorno's unique style.Moreover,it also has something to do with the differences between English culture dominated by empiricism and German culture emphasizing speculation. Adorno's ideas about essay are obviously influenced by Arnold Schnberg,Georg Lukács and Walter Benjamin.According to Adorno,essays should take Benjamin's idea of'constellation'as model and have the feature of Schnberg's'atonal music.'As an excellent genre of criticism and the best representation of'non-identical philosophy,'essays deny'philosophical perspectivism'while upholding'immanent criticism.'
