Here, the author has a new explanation for'Wutor',an important term in the history of theatrical study. First, the etymology of 'Wutou'can be traced to 'Wutou',a term in Zen Buddhist philosophy. These two terms are same in pronunciation, but different in morphology. They are all meant by 'tactics','technique','enigma','puns'and sometimes they are used without difference. Secondly,'Wutou'has no formula or mode,it only shows the interactive relationshia between musical display and singing. Finally, the 'Wutou'in a song indicates the place one can sing with much fluency and attractive sound by way of a smooth transition from one sound to another. Meanwhile,it is the most critical technique to sing out all the sounds of a word properly and naturally.
