摘要
中产阶级在当下中国已经成为一个显赫的称谓。这个阶级的具体界定虽然尚不明确 ,但它的身份、地位和趣味却日见凸显。人们对优裕物质生活的向往本无可非议 ,但这个阶级在享受制度化、格式化的物质生活的同时 ,却也付出了精神独立和被物质欲望支配的代价。另一方面 ,表达这个阶级趣味和意识形态的陈情者与代言者也应运而生。《时尚》杂志就是最有代表性的中产阶级的文化符号。它表达的所有内容和倾向 ,集中地体现了中产阶级的利益和愿望。中国作为后发的现代化国家 ,西方发达国家“中产阶级”的文化趣味已经有了标准的中国版 ,这个标准就是《时尚》提供的标准 ;而“中产阶级”的身份向往 ,可能已经成为我们这个时代未被道出的最大“时尚”。
Middle class that we cannot now define clearly has already existed in China, and its identity, status and taste have been increasingly protruding. This class enjoys rich materials that also control them at the same time. In addition, its independent spirit has lost. The magazine Fashion represents the taste, benefit and desire of this class. The cultural taste of middle class in the West has become the standard of this class in China, which is provided by Fashion. Yearning to be middle class is perhaps the greatest 'fashion' untold in this era.
