摘要
酯化反应是基本有机化学中的一个重要反应,传统上使用的浓H<sub>2</sub>SO<sub>4</sub>催化剂常常引起一些严重问题.如:设备腐蚀严重,引起副反应及产生大量难以处理的含酸残液等.近年来,采用各种分子筛,氧化物及超强酸等作为该过程的催化剂的研究工作多见报道,这些工作无疑具有重要意义,但主要问题在于低温催化活性不高.
A new type of solid acid catalyst which is made from exchange resin and used for esterification is investigated. It is found that the catalyst has high activity and good selectivity to the esterification of butanol with acetic acid. The conversion of acetic acid is higher than 99. 5% after reacting 45 min at a catalyst concentration of 2wt%. Since the catalyst has medium acid strength and no oxidizability, the selectivity can go to 100% and no by-product was detected by GC.
Under the experimental conditions the reaction is a first order reation as shown by the kinetic results. But it is not a simple reaction but a complex one.
