摘要
终隋一代虽未修出一部辉煌的史学巨著 ,也没有造就一批有影响的史学家 ,但隋朝史学决不是一片空白。史学家魏澹、王劭、牛弘等对纂修前代史和当代史做了大量工作。
Neither a splendid opus of historical science nor a batch of historians with great influence appeared in the Sui dynasty.However the science of history in these periods was not a gap.The historians ,Wei Zhan,Wang Shao and Niu Hong,did a lot to compile the history of former dynasty and contemporary dynasty.'The history of former five dynasties'which took eight years to finish during the Zhen Guan period of the Tang dynasty benefited a lot from the written history of the Sui dynasty.
