摘要
以扬宪益、戴乃迭英译的《红楼梦》为蓝本,从汉语颜色词起源、构成及意义的角度对颜色词翻译的一般规律和翻译中要注意的一些问题作了尝试性的探讨。
Taking A Dream of Red Mansions translated by Yang Hsien-Yi and Gladys Yang as the example,the basic laws of translating Chinese color words are examined and some of the problems that deserve our attention are discussed,with the focus on the origin,formation and meaning of the color words.
