中小尺度天气系统的多普勒统计特征 被引量:85

THE STATISTIC CHARACTERISTICS OF MESOSCALE AND MICROSCALE SYSTEMS WITH THE NEW GENERATION WEATHER RADAR

摘要 利用广州新一代天气雷达资料,将多普勒速度和反射率因子及其导出产品特征进行分型,详细描述了各种类型多普勒速度特征的特点和分类方法。按不同类型中小尺度天气系统,对多普勒速度和反射率因子形状的各项特征以及反射率因子大小、回波移速及垂直累积液态含水量分别进行归纳统计,重点分析了多普勒速度的统计特征。结果表明:80%左右的雷雨大风包括下击暴流在多普勒速度图上表现为大风区型和近地层辐散型,产生强降水的速度场50%以上为辐合流场,24%为逆风区型。中气旋特征和弓形、钩状等特殊形状回波出现的几率虽然不高,但却是短时暴雨或大暴雨、冰雹、灾害性大风等强烈天气的重要标志。综合运用多普勒特征和环流背景,有可能改善强对流识别的准确率。 The radial velocity and reflectivity characteristics of various mesoscale and microscale weather systems, in terms of the value of vertically integrated liquid, reflectivity shape and intensity, echo moving velocity, was statistically analyzed and compared by using new generation weather radar data for Guangzhou in this paper. The feature and classification of a kind of the radial velocity and reflectivity characteristic was described, especially in the statistical analysis on the radial velocity. The result showed that the severe wind area and the surface layer divergence occurred in radial velocity or storm-relative mean radial velocity map in 80% of the thunderstorms, including downburst. The convergence flow pattern was resulted in more than 50% of severe rainfall, and 24% of it was brought about by inverse wind area. Meso-cyclone was usually used as indicator to the local very-short-range torrential rains, hail and gale, in spite of its low probability. The diagnosis and identification of severe storm would be improved by means of these characteristics combined with the synoptic analysis.
