摘要
英语讲座常以题目的形式、谈话的形式或潜在的语音形式提出主题和次主题,即以话题界限标记的形式引出主题和次主题.作者在专业八级听力测试中的讲座测试部分的培训中,在对学生进行各项听力技巧培训的同时(比如,听力习惯、如何听懂具体信息、如何听懂阐述以及对背景资料的联想记忆等),介绍并应用话题界限标记的理论,帮助学生快速识别讲座中主题和次主题.通过一段时间的培训,学生在讲座的听力理解方面有了明显的提高.
The English talk in the listening comprehension is always one of the most difficult parts for the students. They are frequently frustrated with the quick recognition of the topic as well as the subtopics in a talk, which is characterized by its speedy, casual and informative. The article is a study on the verbal markers (some adverbs) and the nonverbal markers ( the stress, pause, etc.) in the speech paragraphs for the purpose of a logical understanding the talks in TEM-8.Namely,the utilization of the topic boundary markers in a talk in the teaching practice is proved to be efficient in the listening comprehension. The regular listening skill training of a TEM-8 talk is mainly in listening habits, listening to the specific information and the cultural knowledge. Meanwhile, if the teacher can illustrate the students the theory of the topic boundary markers, the students can have a more quick and logical recognition on the topic as well as a subtopic in a talk. The study aims to improve the students' cognitive awareness in understanding a talk.
