The evaluation of Chinese sci-tech periodicals is discussed from following three aspects: the meaning of periodical evaluation; the history and current situation of evalualogy research of Chinese sci-tech periodicals; the assessment index and evaluating methods of future Chinese sci-tech periodicals.
