Aiming at the behavioral issue and the timing issue in reconfigurable CNC systems, this paper presents a real time component model by combining port based component and scheduling mechanism, on the basis of which a hierachical multi mode architecture is constructed. In this architecture, the behavior is described by the HFSM, while the timing feature is described by network of components, which provides effective method to investigating reconfigurable CNC. The reconfigurable scenery of 2 axis controller verifies our methodology.
