摘要
在基于IEEE802.11MAC接入的无线Adhoc网络中,突发性较弱的TCP反向应答包在与正向数据包竞争信道时处于劣势,从而引起TCP连接周期性的多余重传.静态拓扑研究表明,适中的链路层重传上界(如5次)可获得最优的TCP性能,且该最优重传上界与网络业务负载大小有关系;动态拓扑研究则显示,不同节点移动速度对链路层重传上界不敏感.
It is found that the reverse ACK (acknowledgement) segments will be defeated by the forward TCP (transmission control protocol) segments in the competition of wireless shared channel in IEEE 802.11-based Ad hoc networks. Thus spurious TCP retransmission timeouts will happen periodically. The analysis under static topology proves that suitable link-layer retransmission limit, e.g. 5, can get optimal TCP performance. The optimum retransmission limit is related to the traffic load added in the network. The simulation under dynamic topology shows that different moving speed of nodes won't bring additional requirements on link-layer retransmission for higher, TCP throughput.
