摘要
近年来,很多语言教师和学者都热衷于讨论语言教学和文化教学的结合问题。这方面的论文,就汉语教学界而言,至少在80年代初就已经出现了①。最近,讨论的势头不但没有减弱,反而有增强的趋势,这只要从近几年来在台湾、新加坡、香港和中国大陆等地召开的有关汉语教学的研讨会上,探讨语言教学怎样跟文化教学相结合的论文成倍增长这一点就可得到证明。
There are three questions concerning the teaching of language and culture in a combined way at the elementary level: necessity, possibility and ways. As people have agreed with each other to the first, this paper discusses only the other two. To the second question, the author answers positively by giving an eloquent example and to the third, he suggests that a text writer should put cultural content deliberately into the text he writes and that a teacher should be sensitive to find cultural content in a ready text. In addition, he lists things that should be avoided when doing so.
