摘要
通过对清代乾嘉学者焦循的“理本自然”、“名起于法”、“数在形先”等数理思想的剖析 ,探讨焦循的数理思想与乾嘉学术的关系 ,可知他的数理思想是在人类已有科学知识的基础上继往开来、推陈出新 ,摆脱陈规旧习的束缚 ,提出新的假设或理论 ,从而为我们重新评估乾嘉学术提供了新的视角。
Through the analysis of the Mathematic Thoughts of Jiao Xun, one of the scholars during the reign of Emperors Qianlong and Jiaqing, and by exploring the relationships between his mathematic thoughts and the scholarship of that time, it may as well be concluded that his mathematic thoughts are fresh new hypotheses and doctrines on the basis of the already-obtained scientific knowledge of mankind, inheriting and at the same time breaking through the old. As a result, his thoughts offer us a new perspective to re-evaluate the academic achievements during that time.
