摘要
组件对象模型(COM)是与平台无关的、分布式的、面向对象的。COM是微软OLE,ActiveX等的基础技术。更好的理解COM,关键是记住COM不是面向对象的语言,而是创建二进制软件组件的标准。
The component object model (COM) is a platform-independent distributed and object-oriented one.The COM is the foundation technology for Microsoft's OLE (compound documents),ActiveX (internet enabled components) and so on. To understand the COM (hence all COM-based technologies) it is crucial to bear in mind that it is not an object-oriented language, but a standard of creating binary software components.
