ENGINEERING DEVELOPMENT OF SBS THERMOPLASTIC ELASTOMERS——Ⅰ. REACTION ENGINEERING DEVELOPMENT

摘要 采用三步加料法或两步加料与偶合法,以烷基锂为引发剂,环己烷为溶剂,四氢呋喃为活化剂,四氯化硅为偶联剂,在13m^3聚合釜中,着重从预混合、单体浓度和反应温度考察了合成线型或星形SBS时的传热,传质情况。根据试验结果和“快速聚合技术”的要求,开发出单釜容积30m^3、内设垂直冷却管的夹套式聚合釜;选用的搅拌浆,其轴向4m之内的瞬时最大温差仅为5℃,并可在1min内使其降为0.5℃。经试生产,产品质量达到设计指标,聚合周期为120min,单釜产量达2.6t。 The heat transfer and mass transfer in the synthesis of linear or star type SBS thermoplastic elastomers were studied under different reaction temperature, monomer concentration and premixing, using alkyllithium as initiator, cyclohexane as solvent, tetrahydrofuran as activator and silicon tetrachloride as couplingagent, by three-stage-feedstock method or two-stage-feedstock with subsequent coupling method in a reactor of 13m3. Based on the results of experiments and ' rapid polymerization technology', a reactor of 30m3 was developed, the rein ,fixed with perpendicular cooling tubes and jacket. Its agitator had only 5°C of the maximum temperature difference in a short moment along the axial direction in a range of 4m,meanwhile,it could be reduced to 0.5°C within 1min. After trial production the product quality could meet the requirement of the design, the polymerization period was 120 min and the productioncapacity of single reactor was 2.6 t.
