摘要
《论语》之外,从战国到秦汉的典籍中,还记载着各种与孔子有关的故事。该文解读其中关于“孔子厄于陈、蔡之间”的故事系列,揭示儒、道、墨三家对事件的不同想像及其在孔子形象的塑造中所起的作用,指出儒家把事件描述为孔子立德的范例,是树立孔子圣人形象的一种思想策略。
Besides Analects, many stories of Confucius were recorded in different literatures from the period of Warring States to the Qin and Han dynasties. This paper unscrambles the series of stories of “Confucius stranded on the road from Chen to Cai”, reveals the different imaginations of the events by Confucianism, Taoism and Moism in shaping the Confucius figure, and indicates that the purpose of Confucian description of the events as the example of Confucian moral practice was a strategy of making a Confucian sage.
