摘要
本文是对明清以来中国学者关于华侨华人研究情况的述评。作者认为 ,虽然这些著述主要以描述和记载为主 ,但由于这些著作均对本人的亲身经历或调查记录 ,其史料价值远远高于研究价值。作者对梁启超在华侨华人研究方面的开创性成果给予高度评价 ,并对梁氏 1 90 4年提出的“华侨殖民论”
The article is a historiographical survey of the study by Chinese scholars on the Chinese overseas during the Ming-Qing period.The works during the time are mainly reminiscences,memoirs or records,and usually more descriptive by nature,but their value as historical data is very important.The author also analyzes Mr.Liang Qichao's theory of “Chinese migration as colonization” and thinks highly of Mr.Liang's pioneering study of the Chinese overseas.
