摘要 本文认为,大众传播的公众性使它倾向于迎合大众心理,包括暗合他们落后的性别意识。同时,作为社会扩展主流文化的重要途径与方式,它难免要表现由传统积淀而来的性别歧视。大众传播媒介普遍地商业化运作,由此出现了一切可能促进销售的行为,包括针对更有购买力的男性促销,把女性性对象化、商品化。大众传播的信息源是社会组织,而这类组织往往是与国家权力有紧密联系的社会核心组织,是性别制度中有比较明显的性别特征的组织,女性通常只能在其边缘发出自己的声音。 This article holds that the public nature of mass media renders it inclined toward pandering to the tastes and interest of the public, including coinciding with their backward gender consciousness. As society's important channel of extending mainstream culture, mass media tend to express the sediments of sexual discrimination accumulated over the years. The common commercialized operation of of media has bred actions aimed at sales promotion, including promotion targeted at the male sex that has higher purchasing power, and the sexualization and commercialization of the female sex. The information source of the media is social organizations, which are usually core organizations with close cnnection with the state power, and having relatively evident gender characteristics under the gender system. Women ususally can only make their voice heard at the very perimeters of these organizations.
