摘要
AAUP不仅使大学教师的解聘程序化 ,而且促使学术自由和终身教职成为美国的大学制度。本文探析了AAUP能维护美国大学教授权益的原因 ,即与AAUP自身的特点、以判例法为主的美国司法制度。
The AAUP not only helps to make it a necessary procedure to dismiss any teachers in universities, but also impels academic freedom and tenure to become the American university systems. The article probes into the reasons why the AAUP can maintain American professors' occupational rights and interests, .The author considers that following factors are attributable to this fact, such as the characteristics of the AAUP, the American judicial system that is dominated by Case Law, American university and social tradition, American social circumstances.
