摘要
模型综合是数字环境下地理信息的概念层次上的综合,是地图综合的前提和基础,它通过改变地图内部目标的空间关系和语义关系,使地图的表达更简单;同时处理空间语义关系,保证小比例尺下的语义表达,进而使综合更方便.详细探讨了模型综合的概念和内涵,并着重从空间关系和语义关系方面探讨了模型综合的具体内容.
Model generalization is the foundation of map generalization, which is conceptual generalization of spatial information in digital environment. Model generalization modifies spatial relations and semantics relations of map objects to reduce spatial information, makes it simpler and convenient to represent geographic information in smaller scale. The paper discusses the concept and meaning through the contrast of model generalization and cartographic generalization, then illustrates the model generalization in topological and semantic aspect, generalization decision.
