Details the configuration and enhanced capabilities of Microsoft's embedded operating system Windows CE.NET. It can customize system platform according to the need of the hardware in system, and can be compatible to all kinds of Win32 software in market, thus accelerated users' development course. At the same time, compares Windows CE.NET with Windows XP embedded, offers certain reference for the fact that the developer selects the proper embedded operating system for use. And finally introduces the process of creating a CE.NET-based embedded platform, shows how to develop embedded applications on the created platform.
