Neither figutive nor abstract drawing in western arts is the aesthetic of Chinese fig- ure painting, since we use not only different philosophy but also special pigments and papers and even silk. What Chinese paint- ing displays in shape is some images be- tween similarity and dissimilarity of the real object in visual effects but acturelly ex- presses a higher spirit.
