中国发现的完整麇鹿(Elaphurus davidianus Milne—Edwards,1866)角枝化石和它们的科学意义 被引量:1

摘要 鉴于野生麋鹿在人们直接研究它的野生习性前已经绝灭,简接推断总带有某些危险性,而本文报导的一件产于青浦的、连同先前发表过的10余件产于我国其它地区的比较完整的角枝,区别于遗址中的多数破碎标本,先民干扰的因素较少,它们和它们产出的地层却有希望弥补不足,能直接反映当时的古生态和自然面貌,因而具有特别重要的科学意义。 A pair of relativelv intact fossil antlers (No. 1271—0991—K2 in the Storeroom of Qingpu Museum; Pl.I) is described in detail in this paper, It is being exhibited in the Museum. The locality of the specinen is in Maolilian, Zhengdian, Liantang, Qingpu County which is in the west of Shanghai (Map 1). And its age is estimated during Holocene (Maybe about Neolithic Time). On the premise of putting emphasis upon the above fossil, fossil and living antlers from more than 60 individuals are carefully checked, studied and compared (Table 1).Many fossils of David's deer are discovered in 190 localities in the eastern part of China. Majority of the fossil antlens bears the characteristics of animal bones from archaeological localities. They are seriously broken by our forefathers.On the contrary, the specimens of the natural strata almost are not too broken; nevertheless, the localities of them are a few. How many localities and pairs of the relatively intact fossil antlers are there in our country? There are altogether about 10 localities and 10 pairs. As far as the writers know, besides the Locality Maolilian, they are: Tongxian, Beijing; Tianzhangtou, Ninghe. North East Tianjing; Xixia, Sigang, Taixian, Jiangsu; Xiannumiao, Jiangdu, Jiangsu; Qiznang, Sigang, Taixian, Jiangsu; Xiaoyang, Qiaotou, Taixian, Jiangsu; Huabao, Qiaotou, Taixian, Jiangsu; Meiyan, Wujiang, Jiangsu;…….However, the specimens of the few localities are more important than those fragments because they can more authentically reflect the biological and ecological requirements, the former distnibution, the potential habitats and the most suitable reintroduction area etc. of the species.
