摘要
道路交通视频监控是 ITS的重要子系统之一 ,在 Windows平台上开发的系统在稳定性、安全性、海量视频数据的处理能力等方面不尽人意。基于 Unix平台集群环境下的视频监控存储与管理系统有效地解决了这些问题。通过视频数据的并行实时存储子系统、基于 B/S的视频数据管理子系统和视频数据的回放 3个子系统的独立和协同作用 ,实现对多路交通监控视频数据的实时存储及管理。实践证明 ,运行于 Unix平台的视频监控存储与管理系统 ,数据吞吐率高 ,能对海量视频数据同时进行存储和管理 。
The traffic video monitoring system is one of the important subsystems of ITS. Developed under the Windows OS platform, the system shows weak performance in stability, security and the handling capacity of tremendous video data. The Unix-based system can effectively overcome these shortcomings. By means of the cooperation of the three independent subsystems including the real time parallel storing subsystem, the B/S-based video data management subsystem and the video browsing subsystem, it is realized to store and manage tremendous multi-video data. The practice shows that Unix-based video monitoring system has a strong ability to cope with large traffic video data.
