The locality of the Han Dynasty's Le-lang Prefecture has been an important question in the researches on the history of the Northeast's domain. This article refutes the version that the Han Dynasty's Le-lang Precture was located to the west of the Liaohe River, holds that the HanDynasty's Le-lang Prefecture was located to the east of today's Qingchuanjiang (traslation name in Chinese) River and in the northern part of the Korean Penisula, i.e. it was located in the Datongjiang (translation name in Chinese) River valley with today's Pyongyang as its central area. Meanwhile, the author makes some discussion on questions concerning the Le-lang kingdom.
