摘要
本文试用比较图书馆学的比较方法,围绕藏书建设工作这一主题,在建立全国文献资源保障体系、从事藏书建设的人员、订购方式等方面与美国图书馆进行了对比,从而指出我国图书馆在藏书建设工作中需要改进的地方。
Based on the collection development,and by the method of comparative library science,com-parison is made between Chinese and American libraries in regard to the establishment ofnationwide literature resource guarantee system,staff engaged in collection development,and wayof subscription,and some suggestions are proposed to improve the library collection developmentin China.
