摘要
根据疲劳过程能耗分析建立的损伤模型和目前常用的几种典型疲劳损伤模型,进行了复杂载荷历程下的疲劳寿命预测,并将预测结果与疲劳失效试验结果进行了比较.讨论了疲劳寿命预测方法中参数系统,提出一种检验寿命预测方法完备性的方法.
Five well known models for predicting fatigue life—Borse,Dowling,Landgraft,Smith-Watson-Topper,Halford-Morrow—all appear to fail to take good account of the causes of fluc-tuations of orginal data that influence the prediction of fatigue life.In the present paper,the authors at-tempt to take such causes into better account.Tong,the first author,proposed a model based on energy dissipative theory[1].Now the authors ex-amine the six models (Tong's model included) against extensive experimental data obtained from carefully designed experiments.The authors subjected notched specimens of three kinds of steel to loadings of dif-ferent prescribed spectrums.The results of the authors' analysis of experimental data will be briefly pres-ented in the next paragraph.In Figs.5 and 6,the abscissa represents parameter pair,which always contains a pair of parametersand which is one of many parameter pairs in parameter system obtained through regression analysis ofexperimental data.In the same figures,the ordinate represents the difference of logrithms of predicted life—based on a certain theoretical model—and experimental life.It can be seen that Tong's model(Fig.5)gives approximate straight line relationship,whereas,all other five models fail to giev straight line rela-tionship (Fig.6).Thus it is believed that Tong's model succeed in taking into better account the causes offluctuations of original data that influence the prediction of fatigue life.
