Status of Superconductivity in Large-scale Particle Accelerators

摘要 文中简要回顾了世界上已建造的大型超导加速器 ,重点介绍未来的超导加速器方案 ,对超导新材料在加速器中的应用研究以及我国超导在加速器中的应用研究情况作了简要介绍。 The large scale accelerators based on superconducting magnet technology and superconducting cavities are outlined. After LHC, the planned future international linear collider (ILC) was annouced by ICFA at a scientific conference in Beijing to be realized in superconducting technology, showing that superconducting technology is still critical for large scale accelerator. The current superconducting magnet and superconducting cavity technology for accelerator are still based on niobium and niobium alloy. High T c superconductor is still not applicable for accelerator. However, both superconducting magnet based on niobium alloy NbTi and Nb 3Sn and cavity based on bulk niobium have already very close to their theoretical limit. Therefore, the exploration of new superconducting material is very critical for the breakthrough of the superconductivity application in high energy partical accelerators.
