一种恒定束宽波束域加权子空间谱估计新方法

摘要 恒定束宽波束域噪声是空间相关的非白噪声 ,这给宽带波束域高分辨方位估计方法的性能带来影响。在分析恒定束宽波束域噪声特性的基础上 ,提出了一种恒定束宽波束域加权子空间谱估计新方法 ,该方法综合应用宽带波束域协方差矩阵的特征值和特征向量正确地表示了波束域噪声子空间 ,有效地抑制了宽带波束域相关、非白噪声的影响 ,改善了宽带波束域高分辨方位估计方法的性能。计算机仿真验证了新方法的有效性 ,分辨概率曲线和均方误差曲线表明 ,新方法的分辨门限比只使用协方差矩阵特征向量的宽带波束域 MUSIC方法下降超过 1 d B。 The noise in constant beam-width beam space is spatial correlative and color (non white), which affects the performance of wide-band-beam-space high resolution DOA (Direction of Arrival) estimator. We, analyzing the noise property in constant beam-width beam space, propose a weighted signal-subspace spatial-spectrum (WSS) estimator in constant beam-width beam space. In the full paper, we explain in much detail how to overcome the effect of the beam space noise and how to improve wide-band-beam-space MUSIC algorithm for use with the WSS estimator we propose. Here we give only a briefing of our explanation. Previous methods made use of only eigenvectors of wide-band-beam-space covariance matrix. Our method makes use of both eigenvalues and eigenvectors of wide-band-beam-space covariance matrix, thus correctly expressing noise subspace and overcoming the effect of the beam space color noise. Computer simulation results, when plotted as curves, allow us to make the following observation: the resolution probability and mean square error from Monte Carlo experiments show that the resolution threshold of the new method is about 1 dB lower than that obtained with the wide-band-beam-space MUSIC algorithm.
