数字图书馆异构数据库的现状及解决方法 被引量:5

Situation and Improvement of Heterogeneous Database in Digital Libraries

摘要 由于数字图书馆数据库的发展过程中存在异构数据的现象,给读者查询带来极大的不便,因而需要对异构数据进行整合与集成,使其具有集成性、完整性、一致性和访问安全性等,以便于读者查询访问,实现图书馆信息资源的真正共享。目前,利用VC++的ODBC技术,已经能够很好地解决数据库管理系统本身异构的多源异构数据库的共享问题。 This paper reviews the situation of heterogeneous database in the developmenal process of digital libraries. Heterogeneous database in digital libraries brought many problems for users during querying. It is very important for heterogeneous database to have the characteristics such as integrality, consistency, security and feasibility etc. With the help of ODBC of VC + + , DBMS in the heterogeneous database may be solved and the information sharing of digital libraries will be realized.
