当前的Web站点不仅能为用户提供静态的信息服务,它还能与用户进行交互,使用户不仅可以动态地访问Web上提供的软件服务和数据服务,而且可以通过Web访问远程计算机的硬件资源.
The importance of Web services has been recognized by industry and academic research. The two worlds concerned of two different dimensions. Industry has focused on modularization of service layers, while academic research has been mostly concerned with semantic expressiveness of service description. This paper gives a brief introduction to two worlds research and points out the challenge of research currently.
